JT could not have found a better business partner than Greg Troyer. Greg is an extremely capable multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter with a proven track record in studio production. He owned and operated Side One Studios of Metairie, LA for 13 years. During that time, Greg worked with many well known artists including Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, 311, the Neville Brothers, Blind Melon and many more. Greg left the studio business several years ago to pursue new ventures: a construction business and a solo career as a Christian recording artist, enjoying success in both areas. He became a well respected church music leader while his construction company took off. After several years away from the recording business, Greg wanted to start a new studio venture.

After meeting over the course of a few months, Greg and JT decided to join forces. By late 2011, the new JT Studios was open for business.
